Make Money with SEO Contests

So I know it’s been a while since I actually shared some good tips with you. I’ve gotta warn you though, I’ve tried to make money with SEO Contests, and I haven’t because I’ve moved on with other projects, and kind of stopped trying to win, which really hurt my chances, but now I’m going full-force with SEO Contests, and am going to try to win one.
First of all, let’s examine what an SEO Contest is. SEO means Search Engine Optimization, which means basically, trying to get yourself to be #1 on Google.com Search for a certain keyword. Adding Contest means, that you are given a keyword, and you want to be #1 or #2 or #3 on Google to win a prize. But, with a competition you know that more people will be doing SEO for that keyword which will create more competitions.
So, we get what SEO is. Now, let’s look deeply at what we can do to SEO our sites, first of all, back-linking is a HUGE PART of this, and so I’m not going to get into that. Read my posts about Traffic, and about Building Links if you’re interested in that. So assuming we understand now what an SEO competition is, we can move on to how we can make money with it.
First of all, let’s look at the current competitions being run for SEO:
- xCap SEO Contest at PromoJunkie, this contest is optimizing your website for the keyword “sport supplement”, I didn’t go whole-heartedly into this one, and my contest entry is this Sport Supplement post on an old blog of mine (it’s not even SEO friendly). (1k #1 Prize)
- WCS Fitness SEO Contest at PromoJunkie, this contest is optimizing your website for the keyword “used stationary bikes”, I’m actually going full-out (or trying to) with my entry on this Used Stationary Bikes website. The prizes for this one, include a 1,000, top prize for the one who finishes #1 on Google.
- CheatAd SEO Contest at CheatAd, this contest is optimizing your website for the keyword “salehdbrent sgdashhousedotcom”, I did not participate in this contest, as I found out about it weeks after it started, and never got the time to get into it. There are some good prizes available.
