Proxies for profit

Hi Guys,

Today I wanted to talk about making money online with web proxies. You’ve probably heard of them before, proxies let you access websites when they are blocked, and surf the web without revealing your IP address, and travel with privacy.

I’ll admit, I used to make about $1 a day with proxies, using Google Adsense. When I quit, it was because I realized I was helping people access websites, that they shouldn’t be able to access. The original reason I made a proxy was so people could access websites like Facebook and Youtube, which I didn’t think should be blocked at schools and in countries. When I found out, what people were probably using it for (porn, illegal stuff, downloads), I immediately quit proxies, I was done with them.

The other day, I bought proxy hosting from Vectro, I decided that heck I should try it again, however I must admit in my heart I still thought about all those things that people could go to, through the use of my proxy. So once I installed, I decided to put a blacklist on porn sites, that I had seen links to (although I would NEVER look at porn ever). I realized that since I’m not one to look at porn, I didn’t have a list of porn sites to blacklist so I added a keyword blocker for porn keywords.

Anyways, that’s my personal story with proxies. I want to get to why I think proxies are good business now; I just told you why I think there bad about a minute ago.

The good side of proxies

This is why I think its ok for you to make a proxy: Proxies make it easier for people in countries who are censored to access WebPages. These censors are sometimes uncalled for and block valuable WebPages from people improperly. In some countries, websites about Christianity are blocked, this is what really got me, and that’s why I think proxies are good.

Now that you have a reason why it’s ok to make proxies, let me tell you how to make money with your proxy…

Proxy = Money

First of all, on the homepage you would want to add adsense ads (google.com/adsense), (DO NOT PUT ADSENSE ON PROXIFIED PAGES). Then on the proxified pages (accessed through proxies) you would want to put Adbrite ads.

This way you stay by the guidelines of adsense, which says you cannot put ads on the proxified pages.

The only way to make money now, off of these web ads, is to gain traffic. The first thing I do when I set up a proxy is go to webevader.com and use the auto submitter, which submits your proxy to many websites, and then you will get some traffic from that.

That traffic will turn into clicks.

Warning

Some countries (China, Pakistan etc) are known to not generate clicks, and they download A LOT,  which means they are users you do not need using your proxies. It’s best to block access from certain countries.
