It's not that easy…

In one of my latest posts I promised a new series where I would actually talk to you verbally about different ways that even you could make money online. I didn’t realize however that my mic was really bad. I’ve decided to do this series I need to go pick up a new mic. So, sorry people you’re going to have to read this one.

Today, I wanted to start the series off with “It’s not that easy”, which probably leaves you asking “what’s not that easy?”

Making money from blogging is not that easy. Let’s go through the process of how you can turn a blog into cash so you understand that it’s not easy.

First of all you’re going to start a blog, buy a domain name, and web hosting. Then you’re going to setup your favorite CMS system, which is probably wordpress, and then you’re going to set up your blog with a nice theme and add content.

In almost every e-book I have read, at this point your blog just starts making money.

That is the biggest lie that I have ever read in my life – There is still so much of the process (and the hardest part) to come.

First, you need to build a base of visitors, visitors that are going to come more then once. The way you do this is through many types of web promotion, and then to keep the visitors you need to have something they like.

Honestly, would you visit a “junk” site more then once?

No, you wouldn’t. If you want to keep the visitors that you earned then you need to have something there for them.

Now. How am I going to make money?

Here’s my favorite part, when you build up visitors, ones that return more then once. Now you can use these visitors to be cash in your pocket. Now you have so many ways (ethical and not ethical) to make money from these visitors.
